Forever Together Part 1

It was a cold January evening just before sunset. January 14th, to be exact the birthday of Rukia Kuchiki. Ichigo had stumbled on what to get her but on morning of January 13th he found the perfect gift.  They were sitting in the graveyard by Masaki's grave and Ichigo was telling Rukia about her." You know did ever tell you every time I was at my karate lessons and I got my butt kicked by Tatsuki I would cry but when my mother came it was just like the tears stop and I would smile again" he said cuddling her. Ichigo couldn't be happier to have someone like Rukia and his other hand was in his pocket he patted the soft box in pocket waiting for the moment. Ichigo kissed her hair "Happy birthday my angel". She smiled and kissed his lips "Thank you but Ichigo why did you bring me here "she asked "You'll find out real soon" she just looks at him very confused. "Ichigo your mother must have been a wonderful woman" she said. "She wasn't here for my graduation and she won't be here to see my wedding or my kids but I want her to see me for this". I was just about sunset and Ichigo made Rukia stand and went on his knee and said. "Rukia I've known you scene I was 15 and you helped me save my family and now I want you to be part of the family" she gasped knowing what he meant and smiled, tears welled up in her eyes' and brought her hands to her heart. Ichigo reached in his pocket and took out a black soft box and opened it "Rukia will you marry me and be the mother of my children" she looked at the ring it was white gold and it was a heart shaped diamonded. The tears fell down her face. "Yes, yes, yes Ichigo I will be your be your wife and the mother of you children"! she jumped and kissed him. He kissed back so happy. They broke apart and he put the ring on her finger, she hugged him and sobbed into his shoulder, and he rubbed her back."Ichigo this the best birthday present I have ever had thank you, I never thought in a million years you would propose to me be your wife let alone on my birthday." She said smiling" Of course I would I love you" he hugs her tighter" I wanted my mother to see my proposal". "Ichigo that so sweet". They finally let each other go after about five minutes and he look at his moms grave and said "Were going to come back soon, every year, on the wedding day, with our children, we want you to see these things". Rukia hugged his arm and they kissed. Rukia and Ichigo's stomachs growled. They both laughed "well we stay here on empty stomachs" Ichigo laughed. They decided to walk down to the Korusaki clinic to eat the birthday dinner. They were hand in hand but both nervous because of Isshin reaction. When they walked in Rukia was bear hugged by Isshin. "Dad let go of my Fiancé" Ichigo said sternly. Every one gasped and Isshin dropped Rukia. "Fi-fi-fiance" Isshin said shocked, Rukia held up her finger showing the ring and Karin and Yuzu squealed. "AHHHH MASAKI OUR LITTLE BOY IS ENGAGED OHH MASAKI" Isshin cried to his wife's poster. "Dad she knows I proposed to Rukia in front of her grave" Ichigo said mildly annoyed made making sure his loving fiancé was ok."Ichigo that is so sweet" Yuzu said squealing she still couldn't believe Rukia was going to be her sister in law. They all sat down to eat the dinner. As they were eating Yuzu asked "Rukia-nee-san may I see the ring""Of course" Rukia said happily. She gave Yuzu her hand and Yuzu looked at. It glistened in the light. Karin walked over to see "Wow Ichigo you really have taste in what women like" Karin said. "So when's the wedding" Isshin asked Ichigo actually calm this time. "Well we were thinking July 15th my birt-" Ichigo was cut off by yet another "OHHH MASAKI" except this time he said" OUR LITTLE BOYS GETTING MARRIED ON HIS BITHDAY" Ichigo slammed his head on the table. When it was time to bring out the cake Ichigo said "Make a wish darling" he was hugging her arm "I don't need to my wish already came true" she said grabbing his face and kissing him. She couldn't believe on her birthday Ichigo would propose to her. She looked at her ring smiling. This truly was the best birthday ever.
