Forever Together Part 5

Part 5:

The sun came up and the light rays touched Rukia's face and she woke up. She went down to look at her stomach; it shocked her there wasn't that big round belly anymore. When Rukia was pregnant she would wake up the same way and to the baby kicking and rub her stomach, then she would take Ichigo's hand and place on her stomach and he always smiled but now it was different.  Rukia looked to see in the middle and saw Masaki wasn't there but instead sleeping on him, Ichigo was holding her just like he was last night, Masaki's head was nuzzled into his neck and Ichigo was smiling. Rukia smiled and rubbed the baby's orange hair, and then kiss Ichigo softly. "Thank you Ichigo for everything" she was truly grateful for her engagement, wedding, and family. Although Rukia loved being pregnant it was nothing compared then getting to actually see her baby. She saw Ichigo starting to wake up. "Hey Rukia" he said and Rukia went and kissed him. Rukia Sighed as she looked at her baby. "We made something beautiful didn't we" Ichigo said rubbing the baby's back. "Yes we did Ichigo we did" she said with tears in her eyes."Just to think about it if I was waking up to her kicking wondering what she looked like" Rukia said "now… now I know what she does". They both looked at their small daughter until, Masaki started whimpering and crying. "There there don't cry Masaki daddy's got you, daddy's got you" Ichigo whispered to her cuddling her against his chest and rocking her back and forth. Rukia reached over and grabbed Masaki gently, cuddling her and smiling at Ichigo. She was getting ready to nurse her when Ichigo asked "Rukia what are you doing" "I'm nursing her, her stomachs growling" Rukia replied. Rukia was clutching her stomach. "And so is mine" Rukia smiled and looked down at the baby as she started to nurse. "Hehe me too" Ichigo said laughing. They were both hungry but would rather watch their baby feed.  Ichigo rubbed the baby's hair, and sighed "oh she's such a sweetheart you know that" he said. "I know she is" Rukia said. "She was shivering last night" Ichigo said. "Is that why she slept on you" Rukia asked "yeah" Ichigo said looking at his baby proudly. When she was done Rukia fix her shirt and burped her, the baby was starting doze off to sleep. The baby was cuddling deeper in her mother's arms, when she started shivering and crying again. "Shhhh shhh its ok Masaki mommies got you, mommy won't let anything happen to you" she was bouncing her up and down and kissing her on the side of the head, when she saw the open window. "Ichigo can you close that window its winter, no wonder the poor thing is freezing" Ichigo closed the window and went back to the bed. They snuggled together closely with blankets, so Masaki wouldn't get sick. Masaki was drifting back to sleep,  Rukia put out hand to rub the babies hair, but felt Masaki wrap her small fingers around Rukia big finger. Ichigo put his head on Rukia
s shoulder and watched the new born sleep with her fingers around Rukia's. He put his arm around her and they kissed passionately, with their sleeping newborn and life ahead of them
